About Gerard Pique
Gerard Pique is a former Spanish football player. He was a center defender for Barcelona, Real Zaragoza, and Manchester United.
Pique joined Manchester United before to agreeing to his first professional contract, having spent the most of his formative years in Barcelona’s academy. He was a member of the Red Devils from 2004 until 2008, with a 2006–07 loan to Real Zaragoza.
Pique returned to Barcelona prior to the 2008–09 season after failing to unseat Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic from the center of the Manchester United defense.
After returning to Barcelona, the center defender was an immediate hit, playing brilliantly for the team under managers Pep Guardiola, Tito Vilanova, Luis Enrique, and Ernesto Valverde, among others.
He ended his career in November 2022 at the age of 35. He is regarded as one of the all-time great center backs since he has achieved every possible victory in Spanish football, both for his club and his nation.
The World Cup, the European Championship, four Champions Leagues, eight La Liga titles, seven Spanish Cups, and a Premier League championship are among his notable prize collection.
