Liv Tyler is an American actress and former model.
After modeling for a while, Liv Tyler decided to start her acting career. Following her 1994 film debut in Silent Fall, she went on to play supporting parts in the following films: That Thing You Do! (1996), Empire Records (1995), and Heavy (1996). Later, Tyler won praise from critics for her performance as the lead in Bernardo Bertolucci’s 1996 film Stealing Beauty, in which she played a teenage girl traveling to Italy to see her late mother’s artist friends. After that, she acted in supporting parts in movies including Robert Altman’s dark comedy Cookie’s Fortune (1999) and Inventing the Abbotts (1997).
